Shipping v2.6

We shipped v2.6 this week. This release is smaller than the last one, and that is intentional. It removes more than it adds. There are still awkward edges. We chose not to smooth them out yet. Shipping mattered more than polishing. We will live with this version for a while and see what breaks.
